Loved listening to the autobiography of one of my favorite actors.

I just wish he could have done the actually reading.

Excellent book

It was enjoyable to learn about an actor I enjoyed watching as I grew up. I grew up first watching him on St Elsewhere then Knight Rider and last Boy meets World. We never know the person, only the actor and I am glad I got to learn about his vast and amazing past. It was very interesting to learn about the person and his beliefs and personal choices.

Wonderful Memoir

I have appreciated William Daniels' talent since seeing the movie 1776 on a class trip back in the early 70's. It was his performance as John Adams that prompted my love for studying American History. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing about his life. He has lived through some very interesting times and met so many iconic people. Very enjoyable listen. Only thing that would have made it better would have been him reading it.

i think it would only be better if William Daniel's would have read it himself

Mr Feeney absent from class

Odd that a celebrity memoir isn’t read by the celebrity. Otherwise, the stories are interesting and one learns a great deal about the interesting life of one of our great character actors.

Better Than I’d Hoped

I added this book because it was included with my subscription and I enjoy William Daniels’ work. I wasn’t prepared for what a fantastic listen it would be. The chapters on his life as a stage actor in New York in the fifties were especially compelling, and will delight any listener with an interest in theatre. Full of a lifetime of perspective and juicy insider stories. Like everyone else, I missed Daniels’ iconic voice reading his words, but it would be an awful lot to expect from a man in his nineties.

What an entertaining book!

As talented as he is as an actor, William Daniels is equally adept at writing. I have read this book several times. I go back to it when I’m feeling kind of down and need a lift. Love this book!

Great Story About a Great Man

Loved learning about a man whose voice and characters have meant so much to my life.

Only wish a revised addition would come out narrated by him instead.

Amazing

I was so excited to listen to this. I have always loved him as an actor. I saw him first as Mr Feeny considering the show was popular when I was a child (still a comfort show of mine and I rewatch every couple years), but I’ve seen some of his other work over the years and I just adore him. Hearing more about his life and career was simply amazing. I’m glad he wrote a book and gave us a glimpse of what its been like ❤️
