Aaron Goodson
The definitive English translation by Constance Farrington.
First published in 1961, Frantz Fanon's The Wretched of the Earth offers a powerful exploration of race, colonialism, and the psychological impact of oppression. This seminal text has inspired generations of revolutionaries and activists, influencing movements from decolonization struggles in the Global South to Black Lives Matter. As a cornerstone of civil rights, anti-colonialism, and Black consciousness studies, Fanon's most celebrated work stands alongside such essential texts as Edward Said's Orientalism and The Autobiography of Malcolm X.
This audiobook is masterfully read by Aaron Goodson, and was produced and published by Echo Point Books & Media, an independent bookseller in Brattleboro, Vermont. Audio engineering by Mike Thal.

Written in the late 1950's early 1960's. The author is calling for an anti-European colonial, Pan-African communist uprising. Author proposes this by tapping into white European guilt. Laying all the ills of colonization upon its white readers, the author is calling them to a sort of collective cultural suicide. At the same time the author is stirring up the envious hatred of the Black and Arab reader against the colonizers, and calling for and justifying the murderous, violent overthrow of them. The author is trying to unite Blacks in a strange metaphysical Pan-African cultural unity. Fortunately for the reader, it's been 60+ years since this was written, and the reader can look back and see all of the examples the author gives for his ideology in action. Algeria, Angola, Cuba, Vietnam, the Ivory Coast. All these places the author sites as examples of his ideas inaction at the time of writing. Let the reader determine if it was a success or not.
I disagree whole heartily with the author, but I still really enjoyed listening to his philosophy. It's never bad to listen what your enemy has to say and how to counter act it.
An anti-white decolonization, pro communist work
