Very helpful
I have read several books in preparation for my first child. This one is among the best. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who desires to breastfeed. It seemed long before I bought it, but every bit was helpful.

A Complementary and Supplemental Reading!
How wonderful it is to be listening and reading a book by the actual makers of the IBCLE. (In 1985 LLLI served on the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners, established to develop and administer a voluntary certification program for lactation consultants. The first IBLCE exam was administered in 1985.) The milk leaders and the Lady of the Milk will surely help me pass my exam. I feel confident and I know I'm in good company! This journey has been one of trying to get my "baby to take my breast", in other words trying to get myself to pass this exam. I have tried "re-lactation 5 times already unsuccessfully", in other words I have taken the exam 5 times and failed. So now I have turned to THE MOTHERS, THE MILK LEADERS, THE ACTUAL LADY OF THE MILK and with this supportive network, I am confident I will latch back on to nursing and stay nursing forever!

Very informative!

The grandmother you need to give you great advice
This book came to me at a time I was struggling with breastfeeding. Not only it helped with that, it has been an amazing guide to navigate motherhood, which is completely new to me. Def a breastfeeding Bible.
