I love the Winchesters
This was another great installment of one my favorite witch families. Plenty of laugh out loud moments with Thistle and Aunt Tillie. The word pervert was used way too many times in my opinion, but as always, I look forward to the next Winchester adventure.

Crap? why is Chief Terry DAVENPORT, suddenly Chief Terry BradShaw?!! i meannn, what's up with That?! someone called him bradshaw in an earlier book and i thought it was a mistake on the narrator's part. this is seriously straight ridiculous. talk about the way of soap operas! i wonder if Clove's baby will be Born in one book, and be a Teenager in the next!?!!

I love this book
I love the fact that they use the mom in this book to help figure out what was going on and I love the fact that she in Chief Terry finally got together I just hope it leads to a marriage somewhere down the line please don't stop these books these are good books

Annoying Narration
I love Amanda M. Lee’s books, but I’m so tired of listening to this series narrated as if all the voices were done by Betty Boop. I’ve actually avoided buying the latest one for just that reason.
I don’t know what accent Hollis McCarthy has, but I have never heard it used by anyone other than her in anything produced after 1940. It absolutely is nothing used in Michigan, where this series is set.
The accent is so incredibly cloying. It’s like baby talk. I have tried to get used to it in this series and one of Kristin Painter’s, but I just can’t anymore. I’m not buying anymore audio books from any authors, no matter how much I enjoy their writing, if they are narrated by her. It’s just too painful.
