Jumping Genres

Started as a better-than-average Evil Husband thriller, evolved into something nicely twisty that kept me listening closely. Then the ending took a flying leap into another genre, but I think maybe the author pulled it off. Maybe. Still scratching my head. Michele Moran reads wonderfully as always.

So many twists

Continuous suspense and read with such intensitty and emotion. Just when you felt you knew the plot, a new twist would take you down anither road. Couldn't put it down. I found myself constantly rooting for strength and demise.

I LOVED this book! Work of fiction but so many spot-on insights into real situations.

Good book.

As a survivor of domestic violence, both as a child and wife, this story truly depicts the mind of a controlling, egotistical piece of crap Male person that will go to any lengths to maintain that control. It rang so true it was, at times, difficult for me to continue. It was very well written and narrated.

Excellent Read!

This is one of my new favorite authors! This book does not let you down, there are many twists and a few surprises. Must read! I love this narrator as well!

Wow. Just wow. Great book

Being a victim of Dv I was surprised by this book but it was such a good read I couldn’t stop. One of my favorite out of my 300 listens.

Heavy domestic violence and should come with a warning!

Great story! Lots of twists! Just be careful if DV is your trigger. (It’s quite descriptive and will make you feel uncomfortable at the least.) 10/10!

Captivating!

Slow start but only to grow more interesting to completely captivating. Very realistic and yet not.

Good Read

Very difficult to listen to at times. The author gets inside the head of the characters. I believe this is very realistic to the reality of domestic abuse. The end is very exciting and you can’t put it down!

What a great read. Many twists and turns in the story, There were times I just had to keep listening. And what a surprise ending to the book. Very enjoyable kept me interested all the way through.
