Amazing series

I recently found off about Mary Stewart and this gym of a series.
I didn’t think anything could top Cornwell’s Arthur and Merlin series but she’s definitely given him a run for his money.
Amazing storytelling , kept me hooked throughout all 4 books.
Bravo

A beautiful and sorrowful tale.

A story that tugs at your heartstrings and even as you know and dread the ending, you wish it could be different.

Great book for Mary Stewart fans

I love the Merlin series so decided to listen to it. I love Mary Stewart’s writing and historical research, I wasn’t thrilled to hear of Arthur’s death but the character of Mordred was a different story than the usual and Stewart provides the historical background at the end of the book. So again, a great piece by Mary Stewart!

Another take on Camelot

I feared I would not like this book as much as I liked the first three, but as it happened, I couldn't really put it down. It was a fresh look at the "villain" Mordred. Mary Stewart gives him the benefit of the doubt and gives the story a wonderful positive twist for him. I enjoyed it very much

I have loved this book since I was a child and it was wonderful to hear how it had come to life in this audio recording.

I thought the reader was extremely talented. he managed to make the voices and characters distinct and life-like.
