As if.
The Shadows sisters’ powers are unlocked when their grandmother dies and leaves each of them an amulet that is the key to unleashing their family powers - powers that had been kept a secret from the girls their entire lives. Now thrust into a world where paranormal magic exists, they have to learn to navigate it all on their own - with a little help from an ancient witch who cursed herself - but that's neither here, nor there.
Chaos Shadows realizes she can control water. Soon, she learns that magic isn't as simple as people think when faucets break, spewing water everywhere constantly, and the kitchens flood whenever she enters a room.
Her sister, Eva, has the gift of fire, which isn't such a gift at all when she catches the house on fire. No, that gift is in the form of Travis coming to help put out the fire Eva starts. He is a smoking-hot firefighter who catches Chaos' eye.
Unfortunately, Travis doesn't seem to think Chaos has control over her magic yet, and though the two of them hit it off, Chaos gets into one mess after another. Though the situations are completely not her fault, trouble seems to follow Chaos everywhere she goes.
Wanting to control her magic and show Travis she isn’t an absolute hot mess, Chaos sets out on a mission to discover where her family’s heirloom was hidden. She hopes the book might have some answers to help her tame her chaotic powers.
Only Chaos and her sisters aren’t the only ones looking for the book. Will she find it before her enemy does?
