One of the most artful narratives ever written concerning the life of "The Maid". Hilaire Belloc writes with a familiarity only possessed by those with an intimate knowledge of the facts. Nothing but battle descriptions. I'm sorry I bought it. I wish audible had a way to return books that don't turn out to be sufficiently captivating to hold ones' interest.

Audio is so low, you can barely hear it.
Read the book, the audio book is terrible, so much bass in the voice that you can barely make out what he is saying.
