This book is relevant to everyone--Mormons and non-Mormons. Yes, it explains some of the beliefs of members of the Mormon church, but what it really accomplishes is remarkable. "The User Friendly Book of Mormon" helps reveal what the Book of Mormon really is--The ultimate self-help book. A blueprint for a life of purpose and joy, and a unique specimen of literature. Faulkner takes the reader by the hand and provides a detailed tour of the sometimes difficult terrain of making ancient words relevant to contemporary circumstances. On the surface, you receive specific examples of how to apply the Book of Mormon to the present circumstances and dilemmas of your life. But if you pay closer attention, you will realize you are receiving a private tutorship on how to deconstruct ancient words written by a very different people, and you will develop a new skill that allows you to see very specific solutions to the very specific problems you face everyday.
