A Londoner born and bred, she started her acting career playing Pansy Parkinson in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban before going on to read English at Cambridge where she graduated with a Double First. Recent work includes playing Marilyn Monroe in The Marilyn Conspiracy on stage and narrating The Spy Who Loved Me by Ian Fleming. Alongside acting on stage, screen, audiobooks and radio Genevieve writes for audiodrama (Thunderbirds), reviews books for The Spectator and interviews authors and creatives for literary festivals and in print for A Rabbit’s Foot magazine.

Directed by Tamsin Collison, an award-winning audio director with over 500 audiobooks and dramas to her credit, collaborating with artists from David Tennant to Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Recent highlights include a dramatisation of Jane Austen’s Mansfield Park, Thandiwe Newton's award-winning recording of Tolstoy’s War & Peace, and a new set of all-star readings of Ian Fleming’s James Bond novels. She also lectures at leading UK drama academies, including RADA and LAMDA. A lyricist/librettist, Tamsin has been commissioned by English National Opera, the Royal Opera House, Tête à Tête Opera, Highbury Opera Theatre and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Beautiful story

Continuation of a fun and lovely story. This one has a sadder feel but so good.

Old and modern, classic yet original

Fabulous characters- some slips in proper grammar which give it away that the books are written by an American, but plot and characters keep interest as the books walk the line between the familiar, beloved world portrayed by BBC productions of classic British lit and a world of possibilities/ variety of relationships that the modern young lady can expect. Charming and poignant.

Deeper themes

Autumn is my favorite season too, Emma. Thank you, Genevieve, for your continued perfection in narration.

Multiple “voices” seamlessly bringing me this charming story full of delightful improbabilities, I find myself re-listening just as I found myself re-reading those months ago. Eagerly awaiting Vol 5.

I love Emma! The audiobooks are perfectly read. The character voices, especially Agnes, are my favorite. Can’t wait for more!!

The Alchemy. Be still my heart.

I love the foursome that developed in this installment. Also? A book that can make me cackle out loud with laughter one moment--truly, I was HOWLING--and cause a lump in my throat the next as I swallow my unshed tears is something to savor. This book did that. And of course the vocal performance of Genevieve Gaunt is superb.

An extraordinary tale, captivating characters, and a delightful escape that refreshes the spirit. I highly recommend the Chronicles.
