A simple change of scenery can change lives in powerful ways Margaret, Rose, Jane, and Fran had a good thing going: Meet every week in the quiet of their peaceful chapel and knit prayer shawls. Without the familiar mold the group has been stuck in, their own losses, pain, and struggles rise to the surface. And the people and situations they encounter every time they try to sit quietly and knit are taking them a lot further out of their comfort zone than they ever imagined. Can they find the courage to tackle the increasing number of knotty issues they learn about in the community - or will the tangle be too much to unravel?

What love and friendship truly is all about.

This is such a beautiful story. The characters feel like real people, very relatable. They feel like people you actually know in real life. As a knitter, I understood more about how/why I choose my own projects. How each project has a purpose and all the love that goes into them. I can’t wait to hear the next story!!

One of the best books I've read in a long time

This wonderful light-hearted book brought me back to the real reason we do everything, God.

This book was a delight! I thoroughly enjoyed all the characters and their stories. Their growth was inspiring.

Excellent story and narrator

This debut novel is so wonderful, it is my favorite contemporary book this year! It’s not about dragons but rather the power of prayer and getting out of your comfort zone and reaching people with real life problems in a non-in-your-face way. It’s about God answering those prayers in various ways. It’s full of humor, joy, some grief, and personality and of course knitting. The narrator. Christina Moore, is one of my favorites and makes this listen absolutely fabulous!

Willingness to change old habits

A good lesson listening to what direction God is asking us to go in despite our comfort level. Might apply this to my own life

Sweet Surprise

I wasn’t expecting much from this book but was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed meeting the knitters and their connections. Well written and well performed

This book was a great inspirational read. I couldn't stop. Although some what predictable it was performed so well i didn't care. Highly recommend.

What a story, and LOVED the narration!

I wish our church had a heavenly hugs prayers Shawl ministry! Especially if it’s like the one in this story. I loved the four women in this group and felt like I really got to know them. They all really learned a lot through their experiences. But I especially loved Margaret’s voices in the audio version. Wow! Perfect for the character!!! My first time with this author and I will look for more.
