Resumen del Editor

The product of 30 years of intensive research, The Twelfth Planet argues persuasively that humanity sprang from extraterrestrial forebears. Sitchin provides startling evidence of a superior race of beings who once inhabited the earth. You'll hear the story of how they traveled here from the stars and planted the genetic seed that would ultimately blossom into a remarkable species - the human being.

Good but it just covers the surface.

People need to read Slave Species of the Gods by Michael Tellinger to understand this on a deeper level. Many books covering this subject matter assume the reader knows more or has a foundation established. Many details are left out that leave you wanting otherwise. Those stating the author makes a lot of assumptions are lacking knowledge. The things spoken of here are from the Sumerian tablets/Emerald Tablets/Enuma Elish, etc etc. Educate yourselves further before disparaging the subject matter.

Profound !!!

Sitchin boldly takes on the challenge of finding harmony within the body of apparently contradictory knowledge amassed as a result of man's search for answers in the ground below him (archeology), the sky above him (astronomy), and the spirit within him (theology).

Sitchin meticulously synthesizes the existing knowledge from these three fields of study to create a compelling case for the origins of mankind. His argument would be ludicrous were it not for the fact that it manages to unravel some of the most inexplicable mysteries within each field, and does so in a manner that not only removes the conflicting truths between the fields, but actually shows for the first time that these fields of study mutually corroborate and reinforce each other's truths... when veiwed through the visor of the truth that Sitchin unveils.

Hold on to your seat, let go of your fears, and enjoy the ride. Depending on where you are in your search for answers, it could be one of the most important journeys you'll ever take.

Though a Complete Thought...

I am in line with a lot of the theories within the book, but I an uncomfortable with subscribing to Sitchin's overly simplistic approach. Also, simple fact checks put many of the most fundamental points on shaky ground. I went in thinking that Sitchin had more credentials and experience than he actually does (did). I'll leave the review short. It was a great listen and very thought provoking, but take it as a starting point toward this kind of research. Fact check.

Great book.

A great read and the narration was good. Incredible past history of our world. I would recommend it to read or better yet listen on audible.

love this book!

This book is a must read for anyone questioning the origins of man. An idea every bit believable as the Bible.

Would like an unabridged version

I have read this book before and didn't realize this was not the complete book. It is still excellent and informative.

Very interesting

A lot of things to thank about. It was entertaining about the language originally all being the same. And they were changed to only 4 languages
