At least SOMEONE did it…
The reader clearly doesn’t know the meanings of several of the words in the story that are still in modern use but not often heard in lay conversation, because they are quite mispronounced, leaving the hearer to interpret words that have incorrect emphasis on incorrect syllables. Either the reader’s speech is not clear enough or the background sound is too loud so that it is not always easy to hear what is being said if you’re doing anything else while listening. But this is the only performance of this story available, so kudos to the performer for filling the need.
