The story behind in this recording in palpable and sincere made all the more so in the capable hands of the narrator, Connie Hall. Through her narration I felt transported to the front porch sitting side by side in rockers with the first person main character in this book listening to her recount her anecdotes from her life. At times, it felt so much like she was right there that my subconscious felt the need to interject in the would-be porch chat. Well worth the listen!
