I especially want to say that the woman who read the narrator’s part has an exquisite voice. The best I have heard after listening to audible books for four years. The story itself has the right amount of twists and seems believable. One of the better domestic thrillers.

Entertaining

It kept me coming back for more. I thought things unfolded well and while none of the characters are very likable, they’re interesting.

I loved this book! Definitely some heart-pounding moments…not predictable ..great character development. Worth a credit for sure!

None of this gonna happen, but still good!

Overall, I liked this one. Far fetched? Yes. Lots of moving pieces that may not always effortlessly fit together? Yes. But it keeps you guessing, the narration is good, and it’s worth a credit or buying on sale.

Excellent Narration

Jess Nesling does an amazing job narrating this story. Perfect pauses, clear pronunciations, great at changing voice for each character. Great job!

The story itself was a pretty good one, quite entertaining, even funny at times. I wish the ending could’ve been stretched out a bit more because I so was not ready for the story to end yet. Maybe there’ll be another story with Charlotte, Daniel, & Melody…….

Magnificent and original storyline!

I loved almost all of this fast-paced psychological thriller. A married woman has an affair and is about to leave her controlling husband for a happier life. Then the lover--and all evidence of their affair--just disappears. Wow, this is way better than yet another tale about a kidnapped child! I couldn't wait to find out what was really going on. I did think that the ending was a little drawn out, with too much time devoted to explanations. But what an exciting ride! Overall rating: 4.5 stars rounded up.

This is definitely an author I want to follow.

It was a good listen but…

If I could have somehow reach through this phone and shook or smacked the main character I would. I made myself finish certain chapters. The ending was good but too much left until the end.

I like domestic thrillers and that's what this book is. I thought it was decent, but not all that thrilling.

Great story!!

Best book I’ve read in awhile. Loved the characters, the setting and couldn’t figure out the ending which is hard to find these days. Not at all predictable.
