Five star all around!

first want to say that the narrator was fabulous! That is key when I'm listening to a book. I found the story very entertaining and exciting! This was one that was hard to take time out to do anything but hear the book! Truly enjoyed all of it!

Brilliant writing from Clara Benson

I really enjoyed this book. Because I read Clara Bensons other novel, “In darkness look for stars.” and thoroughly enjoyed it, I was looking forward to another of her novels. This is a gripping story that kept my attention with every word. She has a great talent. Highly recommend.

Good story, but slow

It was a good story but slow. I love WWII novels so I stuck with it. Narrator was good.

Literally the stupidest protagonist ever.

The ridiculously dumb decisions made by the main character, Stella, made me want to shake and shoot her myself (not a spoiler). Spare yourself and spend your credit on something better.

Boring

This story has very little about WWII. Its mostly just a drama filled Romance story that kept going on and on and repeating itself in different scenarios.
