Oh My Goodness! Boo, you did it!

Loved both the places this book took place in, how could you not love it? However, the heart and soul of this book is what matters. And perhaps the hardest lesson I have ever hated learning, but had to be learned ‘you can’t love until you love you’ is the whole lesson of this book. And it’s the truth whether you like it or not.

Good light read

What I love about Boo Walker is that there doesn’t need to be constant profanity and sex to make a good book (and I’m an Outlander fan!). Another nice easy read.

Teenage Angst All Grown Up

You know it’s a good book when you get SO IRRITATED at a character for not being able to see past himself - and keep reading in hopes he’ll get it figured out!

Wonderful Book

Boo Walker has written a book filled with wisdom, although some readers may not have had the life experiences to appreciate it. This book is about the power of love and forgiveness to bring renewal and new life visions. If a reader has not lived 75 years, he or she may not be attuned to how it is possible for Mrs. C to have lost the will to live and how the love and energy of her former student brings new vigor and sense of purpose to her even as his care for her is at the same time bringing new life to him. Likewise, some may fail to appreciate the role forgiveness plays in making the narrator and his family whole again.

I enjoyed the book and the narration very much.

The Stars Don’t Lie

The reader did a fantastic job, and overall it was a pretty good story… Unfortunately, Carter really bugged me. I felt like he was borderline obsessive and had a lot of internal things you need to work on… I know attempt at suicide and having suicidal thoughts is really difficult and I hate that he put so much pressure of everybody’s life on himself, but it seems that everything turned out really well and he kept reiterating the same same thing over and over and over again. Yet we never really dove into his feelings and what happened and how it played into “his ruining his parents relationship” etc. I felt and knew there was more to it

Great story about the secrets the family kept

Kept me wanting to know more and the whys behind the peoples actions and beliefs.

Weak Character

Lead has the emotional maturity of a toddler-more believable in a 20 year old. Repetitive in his insistence that he is the center of the universe.

Five stars.

Wonderfully told story of forgiveness. This story contains discussions of suicide and infidelity but it’s not done in an overdone way. The author let the reader know forgiveness is possible and necessary to move on with one’s life. Will read more by boo walker.

Not your typical story line

No predictable storylines… realistic characters and emotions… it kept me listening for hours every day..

Easy enjoyable read

A bit over dramatic at times, but an enjoyable relaxing read, with a great ending.
