A Detailed Adventure

A lot on the American side is nothing recognized for serious American space history buffs, but a lot of the internal workings of the early Soviet space program is news to me. I'm sorry that the Soviets withdrew their lunar program because Leonov would have made an awesome Moonwalker.

Excellent account

Gives insight into how the soviets saw the space race and how they planned to first to the moon. Personalizes their chief rocket designer with features that were not well known.

Discover some aspects of the American space program, open to the public in many forms and ways, is so extraordinary as to get a broader and solid view of the Soviet space program, information-limited and not clear in the past.

The audiobook is a true history of the American and Russian race to the moon. Keeps your interest and learn a lot of what was not published, particularly about the Russians. The book goes back and forth between the two space programs each chapter and is very interesting.

Very good guide!

I liked the back and forth of both men and how they remembered their time as space travelers. Good insight into how the American and Russian space programs were run.
