The theme of nature and mankind’s responsibility to care for it, is present throughout the narrative.

Sumac does not rhyme with Stomach

Story is pleasant, nice to follow the birds through nature. The narrator does a nice job, but constantly mispronounces the word sumac, which becomes very irksome since the cardinal spends much of his time in a sumac tree and the word comes up a lot. She also mispronounces various other common English words such as disconsolate and spasmodic. As I said she does a nice enough job, if you can ignore all the mispronunciations. I couldn't.

The audio quality on this recording sucks

I am not even going to finish, listening to the story because I cannot stand the quality of the audio.
