abridged always misses something

Which is the obvious. I don't know if I missed it or it wasn't on the description. I never buy abridged knowingly because t h e context I d important to the story. Jeffrey Deaver books always have misworded phrases, and I live with it because I appreciate his stories and am attached to many of his characters. This is a good story. Well done; I like it a lot. I very unhappy about the abridged version. I could l dent figure out what was wrong until I heard at the end credits that it was abridged.
