Wonderful!
This had to be the most gripping of the Monk series yet.
I enjoyed that there weren’t any modern societal issues to ponder this time.. it was simply a great story and mystery! I was held in suspense and couldn’t stop listening until I found out what happened. Ms. Perry is a master of the twist and turn!! I must admit, I didn’t figure out who did it until she told me!
Once again, Ms Porter is magnificent! I’m amazed at the breadth of her voices!
Yes, this is an excellent mystery!

An incredible series!!
Thank you again to Davina Porter for an amazing performance.
I have absolutely fallen in love with this series. The characters, the plot, the writing are transportive. I feel as if I am one with the story, watching it unfold before me as the literal world just seems to fall away.
I am a bit leery now as 3 of the next stories in the series are missing. I hope I can pick up the plot with the next story.

Historical fiction
I love the Anne Perry, Monk series. These books keep you interested the whole way through the story. Just wish I could get hold of the complete series on Audible.

Great Story
What did you love best about The Sins of the Wolf?
I loved the way the 1800's came alive.
What does Davina Porter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Great with the different accents and characters.
Any additional comments?
I found it hard to accept that the prosecution believed that a nurse who had given so much to the soldiers in the Crimean would poison someone so that she could get an expensive piece of jewelery. She wasn't in debt; she just wanted the money she could get. I just don't buy it. I loved the characters though.

Great and intense.

Not easy to forget.
I loved this book. Characters had full range of emotions. Courthouse setting with Florence Nightingale was very moving.
