Great Story, Horrible Cost

My main complaint is the cost. Most books are 3x to 4x the length of each book in this series. I would think that a series of collections, like the Renegade Star series would be more appropriate for the series as well.

like real people drug into a sh..t sammich trying to make good decisions with poor data and less supplies. caught in a galactic war when they just want to take a nap.

I Want To Be A Member Of This Team!!

Sometimes when you read/listen to a series you hit some pitfalls along the way. Sometimes it's a rehashing of the same plot like from a previous book, sometimes it just drags, sometimes it doesn't seem real enough. So far I have been overjoyed with this series! Each book offers something new - plot, characters, enemies, depth, character development/maturity. I am very pleased with this entire series so far - with one exception. Early in the series there was a massive need for power cores to run the Archetype and then the Forge - but somewhere along the line the urgency has been misplaced. So, the good guys are actually battling at much less than full capacity with no plans - YET - to go get the power cores. I am hoping that I did not miss something, and that this need will soon be filled. Other than that slight gap in urgency, I am finding this series very entertaining, fulfilling, and it just won't let go!! Again, if you are a sci fi fan, this series would be a great addition to your collection!!!

Very much enjoying this series, i know i have much more to go, and I am excited to do so.

Under 7 hours

Great series, but anything below 8 hours of playtime is really just not worth the credit. I did not buy book 3 because of this, but book 4 was a hard choice so I dove in anyway. If other books in this series falls short of 7.5-8 hours, I will just have to unfortunately skip those books. Unless of course, they offer them in a 2 book combination.

an enjoyable story

the story is really enjoyable. the only thing I'd really like to see is maybe combining 2 books into one, with as short as they are it makes it a tad expensive.

Far too short and $ not worth it

Good story, not great cause its predictable. I would still buy/listen but 6 hrs for what one gets a 15 great book…you and Eric Ugland have same greed issue
