There are men and women who live by their own code, their worlds are hard, dangerous and uncertain. Dahlia is entangled in this world when she endures betrayal, abduction and unexpected situations. For Giac she is a means to an end, not expecting to feel a visceral attraction to Dahlia. The story is fast paced filled with drama, peril and more.
Unfortunately for me the narration was not pleasing to my ears. The accents were off which kept me from fully enjoying the story.

Not as expected
In looking at the reviews for this book, I thought the storyline would be good, wrong! This book is awful because of the narration; narrator had a flat affect, used the same voice for all of the characters, didn’t use the correct accent for Italian; she sounded British. No way will I listen to the rest of this series. It’s too bad because the story would probably be a good one if only it had an excellent narrator.
