Excellent story of the Oracle at Delphi

A man cursed to troubled immortality for denying Christ a moment's rest before the crucifixion, meets an outcast oracle of Delphi.
Combines the myth of Amalthea, nurse of Zeus, and the Wandering Jew for a profound look at religion and how it intersects with life.

Thought-provoking

The story in the book is a search for God. I was fascinated by the progression of the sibyl's tale though I knew the end from the beginning. It was fascinating on many levels, however, and I can't wait to talk about it with others!
