Need a new drinking game??….

…take a shot every time it says someone “quirked an eyebrow”… except that you might die before you get past the first few chapters…
Besides the laughable repetition of phrases/wording, it’s a fun and easy read. And Amanda Dolan is possibly the best narrator on Audible.
Tip: The author notes at the end of the books are almost more amusing than the text… does she think her readers are toddlers, or witless men waiting to be seduced? Hmm, I’m not sure. Either way, Ms. Ash, I am not your “babe” LOL… but I will keep reading your books.

good read

good, but as most sequels, just not as good as the first one. I will keep going with the series as it does have a lot of potential.

Can't wait for the rest of the series...

I love the story itself but the narration really makes it come to life. I think we have been waiting long enough for the rest of the series.

What will happen next Ren dear?

The narration by Amanda Dolan is excellent and hope she continues be the narrator of this series. We find out more about Ren and her backstory and I just don't trust her Aunt Patricia! The four men/guys are just scrumptious and just waiting to who she picks next. So glad book 3 is out and I can continue this yummy story.

No shows her but a bright story

The Shadows of Blackbriar Academy Is book 2 in the series. It picks up where book 1 ends . Wren and her four guys .
Wren needs to train to find her father and save him. Wren and her guys need to win over the black shadow creatures . In this book 2 there is a lot of fighting training . Wren still has a strain relationship with her Aunt . I think her aunt is up to something.
Wren saves her father but is her father playing dirty with magic .

Amanda Dolan performance was great. Voice is strong and smooth

Wonderful story

I enjoyed this fun story of Ren and her men as they saved her dad.

Bk 2 Wren & her men

Wren has passed the trials and in this book we find her in her year one classes at Blackbriar Academy.
Wren discovers her father is still alive and someone(s) is still hunting her and holding her father captive while threatening him to harm Wren if he doesn't do as they say.

Wren practices her magic so she has more control - her biggest challenge is accepting help from the men in her life that want to protect her, and knowing when the guys need to accept Wren's strength in participating.

I really love this author. she is great with character development ands giving each book its own story with room to grow.

Interesting and sexy Harry Potter

Glad the author sexed up the dragon series. People should chill out because she didn't sleep with all of them, and they explained that trolls weren't monogamous and mages weren't always either historically. So if the men are ok I guess that's the only issue. I wouldn't mind seeing a minage or DP scene. I could totally see Gideon and Salun going for that. Get off campus Gideon.
