Too many people today have taken the wrong path. They walk alone, seeking peace and fulfillment in isolation. By walking these paths, he discovers the roots of his conflict and the way toward reconciliation.

Happily Shocked.

I saw this book advertised on Facebook. Sounded pretty good so I bought it on Audio. This book supersedes my expectations five fold. I highly recommend purchasing it.

Relatable. Interesting.

I enjoyed listening to this on my commute home. it was an easy listen and very relatable to life, even as a non-native.

Wonderful short book

I didn’t know what I was expecting when I got this audible book. I mean I understood it was about a man’s journey but the teachings he gives based of his own journey and experience has given me greater insight to the wisdom of the Hopi and indigenous people. I especially loved the ending when he said the world needs to become about “we” and not “I”. To become a community again. Those aren’t his exact words but what I took in part of the lessons of this book. Definitely recommend anyone seeking to gain wisdom and learning more in the indigenous way of thinking rather than that of the modern world.

Seeing Deeply

I think this was an inviting and warm source of wisdom. Listening to it so close to Thanksgiving gave me a good deal to think about. Well worth your time and I trust you will enjoy it.

Beautifully written and performed

I instantly felt a connection to this writer and the experiences he related in wandering into "walking backwards" and learning lessons from nature that reminded him of his people and how to walk forward. The ways are full of wisdom and language that will be familiar to anyone who has studied spiritual teachings of any background. I will definitely share this audiobook with my family.
