I bought this because of the Salty Army. I am very glad that I did. I could tell that this was a first novel, but I could actually watch it getting better as it progressed. The story arc was very well crafted and it is rare to see such a nice cooperation between old pagans and the modern church.
the characters were interesting as were the challenges that they faced. I found the entire thing to be engaging and well worth my time. In a nutshell, The Bubba Approves! Does recommend.
