Acerca de esta escucha
Shepard reveals how this Kennedy conspiracy included members and staffs of the Senate, the House, the Justice Department, and the Special Prosecutor's office. They used delaying tactics and obfuscation to postpone the indictments and avoid trials of the handful of real Watergate criminals.
Shepard argues that the abuses of power by Kennedy's cronies dwarf those of the administration they savaged. Among those he singles out for reevaluation are Republican turncoat John Dean, Mark "Deep Throat" Felt, reporter Bob Woodward, and a young lawyer for the House Judiciary Committee named Hillary Rodham.

Historia
Geoff Shepard had a ringside seat to the unfolding Watergate debacle. As the youngest lawyer on Richard Nixon’s staff, he personally transcribed the Oval Office tape in which Nixon appeared to authorize getting the CIA to interfere with the ongoing FBI investigation, and even coined the phrase “the smoking gun.” Like many others, the idealistic Shepard was deeply disappointed in the president. But as time went on, the meticulous lawyer was nagged by the persistent sense that something wasn’t right with the case against Nixon.

Vietnam became the Western world’s most divisive modern conflict, precipitating a battlefield humiliation for France in 1954, then a vastly greater one for the US in 1975. Max Hastings has spent the past three years interviewing scores of participants on both sides, as well as researching a multitude of American and Vietnamese documents and memoirs, to create an epic narrative of an epic struggle. Here are the vivid realities of strife amid jungle and paddies that killed two million people.

Historia
Hardship is now equated with victimhood. Outward displays of vulnerability in defeat are celebrated over winning unabashedly. The pursuit of excellence and exceptionalism are at the heart of American identity, and the disappearance of these ideals in our country leaves a deep moral and cultural vacuum in its wake. But the solution isn’t to simply complain about it. It’s to revive a new cultural movement in America that puts excellence first again.

The Bodies of Others is about how we came to the harrowing civilizational crossroads at which we find ourselves—engaged in a war against vast impersonal forces with limitless power over our lives and which threaten the freedoms we have always taken for granted. In her most provocative book yet, Dr. Naomi Wolf shows how these forces—from Big Tech and Big Pharma to the CCP and our oligarchical elites—seized upon two years of COVID-19 panic in sinister new ways, to not only undermine our republic but to fundamentally reorient human relations.

Historia
In this meticulously researched classic of the JFK conspiracy genre that Library Journal calls "sensational", Mark North argues convincingly that President John F. Kennedy died as the result of a plot masterminded by Louisiana Mafia chieftain Carlos Marcello - and, more importantly, that FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover learned early on about the plan but did nothing to stop it. Hoover warned no one - not the Dallas police, not the Secret Service. His motives, North suggests, stemmed from a fervent hatred of Kennedy and fear that the President would eventually fire him.

Historia
Turning the other cheek does not mean standing by while the enemies of God dismantle Christian civilization and brainwash our children. Decrying the cowardice that masquerades as meekness, Eric Metaxas summons the Church to battle. An attenuated and unbiblical “faith” based on what Bonhoeffer called “cheap grace” has sapped the spiritual vitality of millions of Americans. Paying lip service to an insipid “evangelism,” they shrink from combating the evils of our time. Metaxas refutes the pernicious lie that fighting evil politicizes Christianity.

Historia
Many people today think the Bible, the most influential book in world history, is not only outdated but irrelevant, irrational, and even immoral. This explanation of the Book of Genesis, the first book of the Bible, demonstrates clearly and powerfully that the opposite is true. The Bible remains profoundly relevant - both to the great issues of our day and to each individual life. It is the greatest moral guide and source of wisdom ever written.

Meticulously researched and engaging

Unique Perspective on Watergate
Geoff Shepard, a long-time member of the Nixon Administration, shares his unique perspective on Watergate. Although not a participant in the crime or the cover-up, he was an eyewitness to the people who were, so he speaks with authority.
With access to documents and tapes that were not available to many Watergate historians in prior years, Shepard posits that Ted Kennedy and those loyal to the Kennedy myth, masterminded the downfall of Nixon and his administration. The reason? To position Kennedy as the rightful heir to the Oval Office.
Shepard definitely proves that great forces were arrayed against Nixon, almost all with ties to what is commonly known as "the Eastern Establishment." He also shares some remarkable details that history has kept hidden until Shepard's work via the Freedom of Information Act has brought them to light.
My one criticism, and it is a minor one, is that I think the title and subtitle should have been reversed. I believe "Inside the Real Watergate Conspiracy: The Plot to Make Ted Kennedy President," would have been more accurate and less sensational than the title chosen.
In any event, it is a five-star book that all students of Watergate and the Nixon presidency should read.

a mess but worth listening to
I knew a lot about Nixon but even I learned new things. It goes on a lot of interesting tangents and it's a bit overly complicated. a must for anyone who likes the truth.
