Yes The characters in Sisterhood caught my attention and I was disappointed in the beginning book for this series.

I needed to be more interested in the characters. Hoping next one does that for me.

Wait a bit for my mood to change before reading next one in the series.

A Fabulous Romp!

A story where you almost wish you were one of the characters so you can have as much fun as they are.

Just okay...

Honestly, I was bored with this book. I was excited to find a new series with some sassy old ladies, and there was potential, but to me, this fell short. Nothing exciting happened. I went into this book expecting to laugh at some of the antics of the godmothers, but that never happened. I thought possibly Abby would get kidnapped by Micky who was trying to find Rag and then the godmothers with have to come up with some crazy plan to rescue her, but then all of a sudden, the arson investigators figured him out and arrested him and that was the end of that. He was never even mentioned again. The narrator was okay, but could have given a little more life to this story. I won't be reading the rest of the series.

yes, it is just about some women that have been friends for fifty years and come together as a family. I love stories like this it always makes me want to be there to be a part.

What other book might you compare The Scoop to and why?

I have enjoyed the whole Godmother series upto and including this one I have one left to listen to

I am a Fern Michaels fan I have not read/listened to a book of hers that I didn't like!

Good but slow to start

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Book was a little busy and all over the place at first but the details were important. I just had hard time keeping interest a little at first. I enjoyed storyline and fact that it is an extension to people within the sisterhood I'm familiar with.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Thought it could have been stronger as I'm used to sisterhood Big Bang endings.

What about Natalie Ross’s performance did you like?

That she read the book to me period. Haha.
