Raymond Charles Barker was a leader and author in the New Thought spiritual movement. He was the founder and first minister of the Church of Religious Science in Manhattan. Some of his students included future Religious Science leaders Stuart Grayson and Louise Hay. He was a president of the International New Thought Alliance. Here is what he says about The Science of Successful Living: "Few people think of life as a creative experiment. Most of us are so busy with routines that we take life for granted. We expect an endless routine of work, a hectic social life each weekend and two weeks' vacation each year.
