All young adults should definitely read this book in junior high. it's the book that Frankenstein's monster learns to read from, and it's the philosophical discourse that any child being raised in a cult or a religion should have to read before continuing in that cult or religious practice

I can’t stand the narrator

Worst narrator ever. It’s like she’s trying to be ASMR but it sounds like she shoved the microphone up her butt until it was in her throat. I can hear saliva and boogers a gurgling noises and on top of that her voice is breathy and deep like she’s trying to be seductive the entire time. It grosses me out and I had to abandon this otherwise amazing book. My advice, get the microphone away from your face, try standing a few feet away from it instead of deep-throating it. This was awful and I’d like my money back.
