Acerca de esta escucha

A coming-of-age tale of Joseph Asher of Rishown, a peasant youth who-by a single act of bravery--is set upon the road to becoming an elite soldier of the King. Joseph's many trials merely inspire in him perseverance, strengthen his character and instill in him hope strong enough to weather the scorn of mankind, rampant religious corruption and the constant threat of invasion from without the borders of the kingdom, and from within.©2017 Steven Styles (P)2022 Steven Styles Fantasía Fantasía épica Ficción Ficción Cristiana Género Ficción Épico Realeza

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely I would recommend it; the narration is done so well that one feels drawn into the tale.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Road to the King?

The battle where Joseph Asher--the main character--sets fire to the enemy ships with such stealthy cleverness. The narrator imbued the scene with a held-back emotion and fierce intensity... so much so that I almost could hear the clanging of swords and flying arrows in the background as he read.

What does Aaron Sinn bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

(see above answer)

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Nothing sprang out to notice.

Any additional comments?

Will buy the sequel & give as gifts.

Excellent Epic Fantasy & Read Very Well
