Resumen del Editor

They entered Rediron’s borders to save their friend, now they’re the only ones that can save the kingdom. Fin, a wanted man raised in the impossibly rough streets of Rochata-Ung, labeled a rogue and assassin across many kingdoms, seems to be the perfect answer to an untouchable, corrupt government. Yozo, a renegade swordsman, unmatched on the battlefield, sets out with Fin across the countryside of Rediron, a kingdom ravaged by a mania-inducing sickness known as the warp, to search for their long-lost friend, Malagar.

Those behind the crippling plague seem one step ahead of the two sleuths, and tracking Malagar is only bringing them closer to the dangerous organizations pulling the warp strings. Dark gods watch their path as they seek out their friend and cleanse the kingdom of the warp…waiting patiently for them to stumble into the snare of their wicked schemes.

The Rediron Warp, the first book in an epic fantasy series set in the realm of the Lands of Wanderlust novels by Paul Yoder, is the perfect listen for fantasy/mystery fans.

Enthralling Dark Fantasy

I was entertained by this first book of the "Kingdom Of Crowns Trilogy". Paul Yoder created an amazing and complex world as the setting for this story. Once the audiobook started, I had to listen until the end as I was so engrossed in the tale. I enjoyed the complicated characters of Fin, Yozo, and Malagar. I appreciated their ability and determination to succeed in their missions. I liked the friendships portrayed between them. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Nathaniel Priestley's narration was exceptional. His performance was a joy to hear. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

A missing friend and a dark mystery

Received as a review copy from Story Origin; also received an audio review copy from Story Origin, this is an honest review. Narrated extraordinarily by Nathaniel Priestley, whose vocal performance accentuates especially the darker characters encountered in the story.

This harrowing, adventurous journey grabs right from the prologue that with its bone-chilling end and lets you know the world unfolding is a beautifully and seriously a dark one. Reza, Nomad and the rest of this crew have already endured so much they've earned a chance to rest and recharge at the High Cliffs Monastery only to be greeted with the shock of a friend they thought lost and another friend, Malagar, has vanished and they're tasked with finding. The Crowned Kingdoms isn't the place for faint hearted as Fin and Yozo discover with dangerous forces brewing with dire consequences for those that call these lands home along with a supernatural entity you definitely want to keep your distance of... unless you want to become its prey. The chapters devoted to Malagar and the trouble he's found are particularly haunting. The Rediron Warp delivers everything you've come to expect from Paul Yoder: smart, flawed
memorable characters; an immersive painted world that feels absolutely real and action that will you reading until the last page. Highly recommended.

A rescue leads to a mystery

Two friends on a mission to rescue a third stumble across a plague that turns out not to be what it seems. This book is tied into another series, and while it's obvious there is history between the main characters, I didn't feel lost jumping into the stories here.
Most of the story is spent with Fin and Raza as they search for Malagar. The world building was unique, the pace moves right along, and the story ends at a good place to set up the next book.
Nathaniel Priestly was a good choice for the narration. His tone and inflection were ideal for the characters.
