A light-hearted and enjoyable romance.

This was a sweet, funny, light romance tale of 2 burnt-up confused people being set-up by a friend who arranged for them both to 'rest' at a deserted island hideaway but neither one knew the other will be there and the fun and frolics begin.

If you're into light entertaining listens then you can't go wrong with this one.

Older Book I think....

Good story for passing the time. I want to say THANK YOU because the last several books I have purchased from Audible have been SOOO disappointing I have been rethinking my participation. This seems to be an older story, good story, written by an author that KNOWS HOW to write a story. This is a light read by any standards but at least I don't feel like I have wasted my money. Sorry Ms. Delinsky the rant is really at Audible. Coast Road narrated was one of the best books of my life. Love it. Touched me. This was entertaining.

terrible narrator

ugh, nothing ruins a story more than a bad narrarator....i know we all need to breathe, but why so damn loud! after every sentence she sucks in her breathe so loudly its distracting and annoying.

Not my favourite

What disappointed you about The Real Thing?

I found the characters annoying, the dialogue simplistic and the story ridiculous. I can tolerate and even enjoy a ridiculous story if the writing is clever but I found this piece to be a disappointing experience.
