The Reading Miracle is a collection of stories about the revolutionary universal reading method. It is a reading method that allows nonreaders to become readers within 2.5 hours. The author Craig Collins traveled the world sharing the information he and his brother Doug Collins had developed. Along his journey he taught numerous people to read - people of all ages and backgrounds. This journey is one that must be shared to let everyone know there's a simpler way to learn to read one that can improve our education system and help people live better throughout the world.
The method has shown promise of improving brain function. It has become the focus of a MEG (magnetoencephalography) brain mapping pilot study at UC San Diego (UCSD). The study was designed and conducted to determine the impact on the brain during the online instruction.
Learning to read opens the world to each person who does so and gives them the opportunity to enjoy everything from fantastical stories to everyday news. In this book, you will get to enjoy Craig's literacy tour. On his tour, he worked with children, a boy with Asperger's syndrome, and an elderly person after a stroke. As you join Craig on his literacy tour, please think about all of the people who can use this method and share it with them.
