Raider & the English lady …

Excellent series. Great character development & arcs. Raider is an amazing warrior. Demonstrates how war & revenge can impact a person. Gains wisdom through the book. Narration awesome. I love the comradery & building of relationships brought forward in this series. Dragon is also a very interesting character in this one.

The Highlander and. The English Rose

Raider, Robby Boyd holds Roselyn Clifford as hostage; in order to gain a truce and 2000 in silver for the Bruce’s coffers. This mild manner English rose of course wins his black heart. Was quite disappointed with Sir Alex Seaton. Didn’t like him being inducted into the Highland Guard in the first book The Chief. Definetly less in this one. He kept acting more snobbish and arrogant always complaining or going against Boyd’s wishes. In this book he sounded more like he was better than the other Highland Guard. Again it was a great book. Have been binging. On this series.

Loved it! Getting better and better!

Oh so many wonderful and steamy moments! Loved the kidnapping, escapes and rescues! Absolutely loved the ending! One of my favorites in the series!

Balanced on views of both sides

What I felt was unique about this story in the series is how you really see how both sides did good and bad things. Characters come to realize the world is more grey than black and white.
