Reading Mark Twain aloud without a practiced southern accent makes for bad listenin’
I have revisited a great many of the classics I read as books as a much younger man.
Some narrators bring Twain’s characters and thoughts to life,
like my recent listening to “A Private History of a Campaign That Failed”.
This Audible file for “Tom Sawyer” does not.
