Great book

I didn’t know what to expect as this is my first time reading or listening to one of Sharon Jayne’s books. I was not disappointed. The way the story was read held my attention which I have found challenging with audio books. I actually listened to the ENTIRE book!! I felt very connected as I do when reading a hard copy book. I will definitely check out some of her other books.

Encouraging and convicting

I enjoyed it the convictions as absurd as that sounds. And I rejoiced in the good that I was already doing. Thankful for bold Christian woman who tell it like it is but with grace. I have something’s to work on, for myself and for my family and those around me. Thank you Sharon Jaynes.

Life changing!

Loved this book. You can tell it is a bit old fashion at times, but sometimes that’s what I need! I value the wisdom, transparency and redness of this book. It was so much great reminders and I also learned so much! So grateful for this book! Excited to apply it to every area of my life!

If you can speak, you should listen

This is filled with so much wisdom for anyone with a voice and especially for those privileged to raise a child or teach a child or influence a child; that said, I guess it’s for everyone.
I will listen and listen and listen again until it sinks in enough to break through the human tendencies of selfishness that plague me.🙏🏻

The only aspect of this book I did not care for was when the narrator would change her voice to imitate a mans voice.

What a book!

This book has practical tips to be able to communicate better with a spouse, children, friends and family. I wish it was in Spanish so I can give to my mom. Also, I LOVE the voice of the reader. Best voice ever!

loved the simplicity and ease in understanding. Examples used to teach were so simple but real. Great job!

Amazing Book

This book is so real and spoke to me when I needed it most. I had no idea how much death I was speaking to others. I thought I was an immensely encouraging person, but now I see that I am only partly encouraging, and partly discouraging and confused. I'm so thankful and blessed to have read this book. It has changed my life and the many relationships in it. Thank you so much for writing this book Sharon, you did a phenomenal job! God used you in an amazing way ❤

life changing words

I think this book impacted me as much as any non Biblical book I have ever read. It has made me stop and think before I speak, at least more than I used to. Read it with a friend. It's fun to discuss it together.
