I can feel my power growing.

I started listening to this book on my 4am drive to work as endless job for motivation. And Ive definitely found strength in this life story. I've been a supporter of Lala since Disturbing Da Peace/MTV/TRL days. I'm very proud of this woman and what she's achieved after going through many hardships. Man or Women can relate to this story of success and power.

Thank you Lala for lending great advice to a new generation. Your final two chapters really reminded how much POWER I have as a individual. 🙌🏾🤓👽

Final Note: My childhood self once heard these similar words of power and success from a popular 90's tv show about 6 teenagers with attitudes. 😂

Full stars- for a young woman of color

I enjoyed this book because she’s got so many great examples and related to her points with personal examples. This book is filled with quotes that make a single,mother, aspiring philanthropist feel like anything is possible!

The Power Playbook is Powerful!

Loved every aspect of the book. It was amazing and really gave me a great deal of help. As a radio personality she gave me he motivation needed to keep pushing.

Loved this book

I would of preferred to hear it in LaLa's voice instead but the narrator was not bad as well.

Lala is very relateable!

Overall this was a good book. My only complaint is that I wish that Lala would have narrated it.
it's just my personal opinion that when someone is writing about their life and their process I want to hear their voice.
For example in Taraji P Henson's book she was the narrator . When she shared emotional experiences I cried and laughed too.

Life Changing

This is a great book! Listening to this book helped me prepare for a recent interview. I can here LaLa's voice although it's narrated by someone else.

Really great book

What made the experience of listening to The Power Playbook the most enjoyable?

I found this book great and a wonderful read. She really believes in achieving success on her own and not laying back on her husbands wealth. I admire her and believe she will constantly work hard at any goal she is trying to achieve.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Power Playbook?

She had a really great knack of hustling and I enjoyed her work ethic.

What does Susan Spain and La La Anthony bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I would recommend this book to anyone, it's for those who are hungry for success.

Great Book

I was not sure what to expect when I purchased this book. I remember Lala when she was on MTV and I have seen a few movies she acted in. I never know what she was an author too. This was great book about what you can accomplish and to never give up on your dreams.

Inspiring, Informative, and Interesting

I enjoyed listening to her transition from a radio personality, to tv personality, to reality tv star, to producer, to successful business woman. She paid her respects to Cris Abrego for his mentorship and told what should be looked for in a mentor and how to become one. Last but not least she told how to get rid of toxic people and the type of people who should be in your life. I have no complaints and this is the best book I have read about someone's life and lecture on how to be successful.

I enjoyed this book so much! It makes me feel powerful as a woman! It has given me much confirmation that I needed that I'm doing this right!
