Good Expose of communism

This book does a great job of exposing communism by covering many facets of the evil of the political system.

A better politically correct guides is this one .

.....is very good. Bought the audio to ride my bike and am getting a lot out of this series. Some of these PC guides are pretty simple. This one isn't.

Hidding Historical Evil

for some reason Communism gets a hall pass from history class in our high school and universities. which is a mystery to be sure and very dangerous, I've learned more in listening to this book then all of my schooling combined. Paul Kengor takes you through large swaths of actual history from decades ago, all the through the Marxist friendly professors and politicians of today! which is very frightening to say the least. why any society would want to even attempt Communism is beyond this reader to comprehend! but unfortunately, people still think it can lead to bliss. the old saying is true; "for those who don't remember the past, they are condemned to repeat it" this book will convince you to reject it with passion! I highly recommend it, because knowledge is powerful.

So wild, it seemed off base but it checks out

The voice is too “bro” or military style but once I got past that, I learned a ton. Lots that I didn’t really want to believe. Every time it was too far out there and didn’t seem real, I researched and it always ended up being solid.

Still don’t really get why communism has enduring popularity? Yeah the commies have been pretty impressive with their cultural campaigning but it seems like a self evidently horrible idea. Cmon!

Very thought provoking

I learned a lot of things that I was definitely not taught in school. Not even in college. He also talks about some very troubling facts about politics and politicians in today's world. I may be a convert to the republican party after this.
