Rerecord with a new narrator

Interesting story, but HORRIBLE narrator. She wildly overennunciated. While I could see this (maybe) for the foreign names, she sounded like she was reading the book to toddlers (however without any kind of engaging inflection) or auditioning to be a GPS reader. It got in the way of the story.

Too boring

This writing is put together by conjecture in many instances assuming she “likely” would have or they probably did this or that. I couldn’t finish it. Has no drama of other polar adventure stories.

Rich lady pays for exotic vacations.

The facts are semi interesting. The narrator was dull and mispronounced too many key words. This book felt more like listening to an unending bibliography. Fact after fact read from different logs and diaries. Glad I didn’t waste a valuable credit.
