Patiently waiting

Like all of JS Cooper’s books- this one is a great read and audio. Laughter, sex, suspense.... Could not put it down. Live Piper and Zach! Can’t wait to see what happens next.

I enjoyed all the build up

I did enjoy this book but it a cliffhanger, so now we wait for the next book.
I loved that she didn't really care that he was rich and famous. He seemed so real when he was with her.
Looking forward to the next book.

Wish whole series was available

Hate no ending, Great beginning. If t he rest of the series is as great...Can't wait. Super sexy, mystery and intrigue.. What more can you ask for. Well done writing, awesome.

For honest review. When playboy Hollywood star Oracle lion (Zack houston) meets Piper meadow romance writer he is surprised when she is not going for his playboy ways ,but when he breaks her down both have questions . Awesome story can't wait for the next book . J.s.Cooper what a story and the audible was great.

Holy Hell!!!

Oh my still reeling and now what a way you finish.....cliffhanger😲. I'm not big on cliffhangers but this book will have you engaged the whole way! I couldn't stop when I started it. love how it was exotic yet a mystery built in as well! all I can keep saying is OMG!!!

Oracle Lions is an A lister movie star who runs into Pipper Medows on her girls getaway weekend. Chemistry from the beginning yet denial too. Pipper isn't like all other woman Oracle has met and intrigues him and he cannot just walk way.

Things take a twister when Pipper is informed of some past news on Oracle and Oracle is blindsided by what he thinks he knows about Pipper. Chemistry, steamy, twist and turns.....this is an amazing read that you cannot put down!

Scintillating!

Oracle Lion is not only the most sought after actor in Hollywood, he's also a complete and utter playboy. Zach Houston, his alter ego in the real world, is a private, kind, more tender version of himself. His best friend, Jackson Camden, is a drop-dead gorgeous rock star, just getting ready to start a world tour. Piper Meadows is in LA for a ladies' weekend with her best friend Alexa. They've rented an airbnb and are busy getting ready for a night on the town. Alexa is somewhat flighty, however, and seems to have already made some plans to go out by herself. Why would she want to go on vacation and leave Piper to fend for herself? They make plans to meet at a bar later, but Piper's the only one to be there on time. Something feels terribly off! Zach has been attracted to Piper since he met her that morning as she tried to decide on a cupcake order. He was disguised and she didn't recognize him. Now that they are all together, the story begins with the four of them splitting into pairs. A fire burns between Zach and Piper and they both recognize where it is going to go. But there's a discomforting mystery, centered around a newspaper article, growing among them all. Everybody seems to know a little something about it except for Piper. She stumbles into uncomfortable territory with a question she asks Zach about his past and the answer might ruin everything. Perfect spot for a cliffhanger!
I listened to the audiobook and the narration by Nicholas Stecki and Jacqueline Stevenson is tremendous. They both have distinctive voices for each character and an individual personality comes through every one!

I can't wait to find out what happens next!

"The Playboy" (The Playboy Book 1) by J S Cooper is a great story. I loved this first part of Piper and 'Oracle' Zach's story. This book has romance, passion, humor, suspense, close friends, movie stars, and more. I can't wait to see what happens next in "Secrets of the Playboy." Recommend to fans of romance, movie stars, and friends.
