How the author beginning with the broader topic of loneliness weaved loneliness in and out of seemingly unrelated aspects of life always bringing me back to the premise that loneliness itself is a gift. A started to say “can be a gift” but then she has convinced me.

So Much godly Wisdom

Finding myself twice widowed and struggling with loneliness, I selected this book. God has used the journey of the last 2 & 1/2 years to teach & instill many truths deep down. But still, I struggle, chaffing against aloneness that has morphed into loneliness. This book offers a great deal of practical advice & hope to claim Gods best for this season.
I'm sure I will read it again & again, hoping to secure a new mindset & heart attitude in this time. I particularly liked the down-to-earth, real life addressing of concerns peculiar to divorce & widowhood. I appreciated how she stated that we can find ourselves lonely even in different situations in life. I liked her chapter on solitude. Its a valuable, well written, beautifully narrated book. I highly recommend it.
