The flame burns a little brighter

It’s fun to be able to compare the different versions of the story. This book covers the second half of the first season of the anime and it’s really interesting to see how closely it follows the book. That being said the books have extra world building and extended dialogue so even if you’ve been watching the anime it’s still worth it to listen to or read the novel version. I’m loving the series and can’t wait to read/listen to the next book and hopefully the anime will continue as well!

this series is my life at this point

I am really hooked. the manga, anime, and novel all give slightly different angles of the same story. I highly recommend all three. Also, the narrator for this audio book is mega good. I can't wait until vol3 and I really hope the anime gets a season 2.

I am absolutely in love and totally obsessed with this series it is so good. I have read both books so far and watched the anime though I think the books are better since they give more context

I watched the anime but wanted to get a more detailed telling of the story and the book did not disappoint. also the narrators voice for Aresh is perfect!

A Delightful Story

I enjoyed the narrator the most honestly! I felt that they brought the characters to life. Being able to convey the novel's emotional intentions through their tone and pacing is amazing. Also, the side characters were amazing!

The story itself is quite fun! I enjoy the bits of insight to the overall universe as well. I absolutely loved that the humor was naturally apart of the story. The overall character development is delightful to experience.

Interestingly enough, I became a huge fan of the Holy Maiden in this arc!

I will be listening again soon!
