A daughter sent away never to be heard from again, a father’s lifeless body found in a snow storm, and Daniel, the angry brother who has lived with the pain of it all, for more than 70 years. As Maggie begins to build her life in the community, she slowly unravels a story of love and deceit. While delving into the history of her new place, Maggie is confronted with her own desires and vulnerabilities in love, along with the anger and pain of Daniel, the man who still grieves for a sister lost so long ago.

Will Maggie be able to find the home she has been longing for in the house above the orchard? Will she be the key to a brother’s redemption?
