Deeply moving

I was not sure if i would finish this book. But it not only held my interest but kept me guessing about who done it! i recommend this book

PRETTY GOOD READ!

When you've been led to believed one thing all your life, it's hard to deviate from that belief. Lauren is caught in the middle if a he said, she said but really, who is telling the truth and will she learn what really happened before it's too late?

A slow burn to an explosive conclusion

The story is presented in a two person perspective one from the daughter, Lauren, the other her mother, Donna. The time perspectives also differ as well. At first the two time frames and perspectives seemed more of a bother until later in the story where it made sense and added to the tension. My compliments to the author for blending what could almost be two stories into one climactic conclusion.

A decent story.

I enjoyed most of the book but felt it could have been shorter and still been as good. I didn’t think the twists were surprising. The reader was good. I tried to give the story 4 stars but it came up 5 and wouldn’t let me change it.

I loved this book! And the narration was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone.

The story was quite tedious. The back and forth between timelines is not my favorite device, but it did make sense for this particular story. Sadly, the story was underwhelming even though the ending wrapped the whole mess up in a tidy little package. The narration was better than the story deserved.

Exciting read!!

This book kept me on the edge of my seat! The twists and turns it took kept it on my mind even when I wasn’t reading it.

Amazing!

This story was intriguing from start to finish. I'm not usually one for thrillers, but something told me to give this a chance and I'm so glad I did. It's amazing! The narrator was great, too. I have Kindle Unlimited, so sometimes I read the e-book and sometimes I let the audiobook play, but I found myself letting the audiobook play while I close my eyes. This book is really great. I'll definitely re-read it.

Enjoyed more than I thought I would

I found the first half of this Audible book slow and kind of boring, and considered returning it. I kept listening anyway and was pleasantly surprised to find that I enjoyed the second half.
