"Fortune": Best friends Jackie and Emma go to a fortune teller. Emma is shocked when the teller reveals to Jackie that Emma is her secret admirer.
"Lili from the Future": It's a dream many people have; your future self visits you and f--ks you.
"Lizzie": Twelve-year-old Shel is not sure if her best friend means it when he says he's going to kill a person.

The Old Woman and Other Lesbian Stories
I really enjoy Q. Kelly's books but this book of short stories I did not like at all. I am so glad that this is not the first book of hers that I came across. I would have never given her other wonderfully written books a chance. She is a very good writer, I don't know what happened when it came to this book. Unfortunately only her short story books are available on Audible. I had the joy of reading her other books. And the narrator in my opinion did not help this book. Her voice story after story remained pretty much the same. I will be sure to stay away from any of books she is narrating. I try not to give a bad review but this book and it's narration I felt were bad.
