Resumen del Editor

On the night of October 25, 1975, a hospital orders its staff to switch three baby girls. Thirty-seven years later, three outstanding professional women begin to put the pieces together. Talia, now head of the world's largest private bank, and Amy, a respected Wall Street lawyer, cannot let the world learn their birth father's identity. At the same time Martha, a valued aide to senior Washington senators, has an undiscovered, powerful, and ruthless birth father who cannot, at any cost, let the world learn of her existence.

Abigail Hoyt, now a Manhattan socialite, believes one of these women is the daughter of Molly, her sister, who disappeared in October 1975. With her new husband's wealth and connections, Abigail is determined to find Molly's baby, a young woman who would now be 37. With success minutes away, disaster strikes.

Continuing this exciting series, journalist Paige Harrington works to determine Abigail's fate. Her investigation leads to Talia, Amy, and Martha. Are they who they say they are? Is one Molly's baby? Dangerous and powerful interests, fearing the consequences of unleashing the dogs of long-held secrets, must not let her succeed.

Definitely Consider This FACTOR for listening

Would you consider the audio edition of The Molly Factor to be better than the print version?

Yes, I felt this audible version gave each of the characters increased personal dimension allowing them to become more recognizably real with each new chapter. I would encourage the author to give us further listening material in the future....I know I am waiting!

What did you like best about this story?

It had continuity and adventure, with characters and situations I could relate to; and stimulated my participation and anticipation to listen till completion. A mystery that involves family, fortunes and intrigue.

Have you listened to any of Allan McLeod’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Being the author and the narrator, the inflections guide the listener in the correct direction to understand both the story and the characters involved. . If there is another audible novel from this author, I will certainly add it to my library.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

BOTH,.

You are drawn into the complexity of the story....experiencing laughter and tears, anxiety and dismay, then thrills and the pleasurable satisfaction at the outcome

Any additional comments?

This audible features the first voice that I have found acceptable...one who was believable and provided comfortable listening....yet inviting enthusiastic entrance into his world of words.

So bad

This may have been a good story but I couldn't get past chapter 4 because of how bad the production was. Sounded like it was done on a laptop computer. what a waste of money. I am used to the higher level of production that you normally get from Audible.

Very disappointing.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

While the concept for the novel held some promise, the audio performance is extremely bad, as is the equality of the recording. The voice actor sounds like he is reading, and the writing itself lacks maturity.

Would you ever listen to anything by Allan McLeod again?

No
