Awesome!

One of my all time favorite stories. Regine is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. The concept was so unique!

An unexpected jewel in the rough

I really enjoyed this story. It was fresh and the characters were sweet - except for the nightmares. Even then...they did exactly what they're supposed to.
I am surprised the narrator is a male when most of the book was from the POV of the female lead. His voice was almost detached at times and unless there was great emotion needed sounded clinical. He was not good at discerning between the female and male POV and at times made it difficult to understand who was talking/thinking.
Lovely story tho! Definitely, HEA don't worry.

Questionable Issues

This is a very interesting storyline; however, some things didn’t make sense. I don’t want to give the story away by expounding on the issues I have; but it is regarding Jade and her wishes. James did an excellent job with males; but not so much with females, sounded more like he was reading aloud instead of acting the part. Hopefully a female narrator will be added along with James. Off to a good start!

amazing concept

Extremely unique concept. I definitely have not heard this concept before! Would have definitely like to have heard female voice for the female POV.

Really great

This was a great story! The narrator has such a sexy voice. I loved it.

Mistwalker

This was a new storyline for me. I was not sure how I would feel about it. It had a pleasant turn of events for the characters. I appreciated the inclusion of how hatred for those who are different can harm the innocent. People who express such hate for “differences” should never be in a position of power. I am glad the couple was able to be reunited. I love Regine’s books.

Love the story, but not the narration

I love Regine Abel's books. She usually has Daryl Mayfield or Christian Black narrate her books and they are incredible. I didn't care for James C. Jones' narration. He was just reading the book and hesitated sometimes on words while readings some sentences. Also, there really wasn't much emotion or changes in voices when different people spoke. I almost stopped listening, but I like the story and wanted to know the ending.

I want to really like this but...

I think I would have liked this book more if it has a woman voicing the FMC's POV. James C. Jones has a sexy voice, and he did the MMC's voice beautifully. But when the book has dual POVs, I like a male and female narrator for the different POVs.

What I liked/look for:
• FMC is smart (yes, she's in denial at some points, but she gets out of it pretty quickly)
• MMC is protective, passionate, and determined - He doesn't give up easily
• Happily Ever After

What bothered me:
The writing - There were too many jumps in the story where more detail could have been put into the development of their relationship that the author left out. This story almost feels like it was rushed. It has so much potential of showing a really strong character and relationship development that makes it fall flat.

outstanding

I loved this book, the narrator's voice was wonderful to hear. The book itself was predictable but lovethe journey.

Unhinged

I’ve read a lot of stories but this one is so unhinged and strange. Not the story line but the random order of events, over detailed descriptions of mundane things and then hyper excelerated relationships with literally everyone but especially the main couple. Truly bizarre - almost sounds like AI written.
