Great story about a not so well known ship!

I loved this book! The narration was great - minus one pronunciation. The narrator seemed to mispronounce Admiral Ray “Spruance”. Like. spru-on-ce. Either every other narrator of WWII Pacific Theater books pronounced it incorrectly, or this narrator did. Great narration otherwise. But this was a minor and frequent distraction.

Great Read and listening experience

An all-around great book. if you enjoy historical Pacific War era recounts, this is a good one. but it's a great book once you lay that over this historical account of cow pens

Great Story about a little celebrated Carrier.

Nice story about the men who served and the ship they grew to love. Interesting stories about both the ships company and the aviator that flew off her decks.

Bob Price! What a man! Stranger than fiction & a miraculous adventure. Not being much of a historical reader though I was glued to it none the less.
